Our commitment to culture

By their very nature, our businesses – media, music, books, shows, audiovisual production – contribute to our society’s cultural and economic life. Above and beyond that, we are committed to actively supporting Québec’s artists and creators, and promoting their work.

We have never ceased to be Inspired by my father Pierre Péladeau’s love of music and the arts. We believe we have a duty to help promote our culture’s richness and our artists’ creative talent by bringing them to the widest possible audience. They are the wellsprings of our society’s vitality and infuse every part of our social landscape with vibrancy and life. So it is that we are dedicated to supporting all artistic disciplines. And just as it is important to preserve our cultural heritage, we also need to give young artists a helping hand. We are proud to be able to say that we have been doing so for more than 60 years.
